MBA Selection Process

Minimum Eligibility & Selection Process for MBA at BGU Bhubaneswar:

Minimum Eligibility
Candidate should have a good academic record with a minimum 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in his/her Graduation (10+2+3 system) from a recognized university. Candidates appearing for their final year graduation examination are also eligible to apply, however, they must submit their mark sheet immediately on the receipt of the same.

Four Steps of Selection Process for MBA:
Applicant found eligible (as per minimum eligibility criteria) will be evaluated in the following four parameters for the final selection process into the MBA program of Birla School of Management of BGU.

  • The applicant should have a good academic record throughout his/her career.
  • The applicant should have appeared CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/BET (Birla Global University Entrance Test)
  • The applicant should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The applicant should have appeared GDPI / Personal Interview conducted by the faculty of BGU.

Each criterion is having suitable weightage and the applicant is required to score minimum 60% to qualify through the selection process.

NOTE:

  • Suitable weightage will be given to applicants having work experience.
  • Applying for the admission does not ensure that candidate will be called for PI process or get admission. The discretion of the admission committee of the university will be final in all such matters.
