Biosketch

Dr. Mamata Rath is working as Assistant Professor in IT Area at Birla Global University.. She has completed Ph.D in Computer Science from S.O.A. University, India and M.Tech (Comp.Sc) from College of Engineering & Technology, Bhubaneswar under Biju Patnaik University of Technology ( BPUT ). Her Research Interests are Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Data Mining, Wireless Ad-hoc Networks, VANET, Internet of Things (IoT) & Computer Security. She has completed Industry-oriented Certification course “ Data Science” from “Tech Mahindra“ during 2020. She has also taken professional course “R for Data Science” from University of Cambridge in 2020. Currently, Dr. Rath is coordinating Certificate Course “Applied Data Analytics” and Data Science Course at Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar.

She has more than 12 years experience of teaching students of B.Tech, M.Tech & MBA level. Her skill set includes R,Python, Tableau, Data Analytics and Professional Excel. She has good number of research publications in Scopus indexed and Web of Science Journals/Books. Her research articles have been published in Defense Science Journal, Elsevier, Emerald, IEEE, Wiley to name a few. She has edited four number of books under International Publishers like Taylor & Francis. The theme of the books are on emerging topics like Resource Management in Network, Artificial Intelligence and Computational Modelling in COVID-19 Research.
