Brief Profile
Dr. Hemant Bhanawat is an Assistant Professor in Birla School of Commerce in the area of Finance & Accounting at Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar. He has more than three years of post-PhD teaching and research experience from MLS University, Udaipur and Eternal University, Himachal Pradesh & four years of Industrial experience. He has done his Master of Commerce and Master of Business Administration degrees from MLS University, Udaipur and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from PAHER University. He is familiar with the subjects like Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Agri-Business Management, Business Statistics and Direct & Indirect Taxation. He has guided 02 students for Master degree (MBA) as major guide and acted as co-guide to 16 other MBA students. He authored 01 book titled “Working Capital Management Efficiency of Indian Cement Industry. He has participated in 20 national and international conferences/seminars and attended 04 faculty development programmes/workshops. There are 16 research papers cum book chapters to his credit in various reputed (SCOPUS/UGC) indexed national/international journals and in edited books. He has been appointed as evaluator for external examination paper correction by University of Kota & Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and also associated as life member of Indian Commerce Association and as referee for peer review of research papers of Asia-Pacific Financial Markets Journal (Springer). Dr. Bhanawat is in editorial board of IME journal (BPAS Publications, New Delhi). He also served as member of accounts and technical session committee for organizing ICSSR sponsored seminar on Agriculture Diversification and Vulnerability of Climate Change for Sustainable Food Security and Livelihood in North Western Himalayas. Dr. Bhanawat qualified NISM-Series-VIII: Equity Derivative Certification Examination and NISM-Series-V-A-: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination from SEBI.
