Biosketch
Dr Akshay Kumar Mishra is an assistant professor in the finance and accounting area at Birla School of Management, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar. He earned his PhD from Ranchi University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. He has about eleven years of experience in teaching and research. He has attended Faculty Development Programmes at IIM Trichy, XIMB and presented papers in International and national conferences at IIM Sambalpur and other Institutions of repute.
Dr Mishra has many publications in his credit, he has also been responsible as a convenor of International Conference organised by the University in January 2019. He teaches Financial Products, services and Financial Market; Financial Institutions and Market; Financial Management; Cost and Management Accounting. His research interests are Indian Banking, Non-Performing Asset Management and Financial institutions. He is a member of Centre for MDP and Consultancy, CIBI, Library, SRC at the University.
